I hope all casinos will take notice and prohibit smoking in their properties from now on.Īlso, the food court was nice to be smoke free. What a great experience it is to not have someone's cigarette smoldering/smoking right in your face as you are trying to have fun gambling. The Palace Casino in Biloxi, MS is the only casino we have been to that was entirely non smoking. So I can tell that by prohibiting smoking inside the casino and on the property had little to no affect on people coming to gamble. Sometimes I would have to find a different machine to play than I had hoped to, just like what happens during non pandemic casino trips. There were still a lot of people in the casino, and the most popular games were full of players. We enjoy gambling at casinos in Biloxi, Vegas, etc, but always hate that our clothes smell so strong of smoke when we go back up to our room.ĭuring our recent stay, 26 and 27 Aug 20, the whole property was smoke free. As a reformed smoker, I was VERY happy with that, as was my wife. Inside the casino, smoking was not allowed due to the pandemic. My wife and I were given wrist bands to identify that we were checked. Before we were even allowed out of vehicles, there was a security station set up where they took our temperature. It was nice to see this property take it seriously. We have been to Harrah's Valley River casino several times before.
